London Fashion Week: Autumn/Winter 2014 - 15

Now to London Fashion Week, where Britain’s most successful fashion house Burberry’s creative director Christopher Bailey gave Burberry Prorsum a bohemian vibe with a colourful palette, Alice Temperley showcased a more wearable collection during london fashion week autumn/winter 2014 for Temperley London and Belstaff whipped up outerwear to fend off the worst of winter weather with a lighter touch while Topshop Unique's aw14 was about country girls with an urban sensibility. These are some of the trends London offered Autumn/Winter 2014 - 15.

Stripes. From Chevron, zig zag and horizontal, stripes were quite popular for Autumn/Winter 2014 at Christopher Kane, Issa London and Jasper Conran.

Crop Tops. Crop tops were strong and seductive at Emilia Wickstead, Bora Aksu and Simone Rocha.

Knits. A trend staple in London, they came in fisherman ribbed styles and other cashmere versions at Christopher Kane, Mark Fast and Pringle of Scotland.

Pleats. Antipodium, Mary Katrantzou and Belstaff had hemlines spliced into pleats for Autumn/Winter14 on skirt suits and dresses.

Checks. Checks made an appearance on jumpsuits, skirts and dresses at DAKS, Vivienne Westwood and Sass and Bide.

Sock and Shoe. There were sweet sock and shoe combinations on the runways of Bora Aksu, Temperley London and Antipodium.

Embroidery. Flowers were the choice of motif embroidered on dresses, coats and scarves at Emilia Wickstead, Temperley London and Burberry respectively.

Velvet. Crushed velvet on so many runways meant that texture was the word to take away from Emilio de la Morena, Tom Ford and Osman.

Metallics. Molten metal remains strong and vivid for Autumn/Winter 2014 at Meadham Kirchoff, DAKS and Antonio Berardi.

Midi Hems. Burberry, Osman, Emilia Wickstead and Meadham Kirchoff offered prim midi length style dresses and skirts for Autumn/Winter 2014.
