Pleats. Pleats have been bursting out on many runways and fast becoming one of the trends to watch out for come spring 2014.

Wide Leg Trousers. The boy meets girl trend noticeable from New York made a stop over on the catwalks of London fashion week.

Stripes. This nautical trend proves its staying power yet again for many designers and their collections.

Wide Sleeves. London runways had a running theme of stiff wide arms/sleeves going on in half their collections for spring 2014.

Full Skirts. Billowing out from the waist to the floor, full skirts flared out from waists for the most gorgeous of gowns.

Sweaters. Soft and light knits in pastel shades made great toppers for pencil skirts, shorts and dresses for those chilly summers.

Slip Dressing. Plain and printed slip dresses hang from the tiniest or straps layered or not, slips are going to be outer wear for spring 2014.

High-Low Hemlines. A noticeable change compared to New York Fashion Week, hem lines were more definitive with high – low edges.

Shorts. Spring 2014 will definitely be for leg baring because the shorts and short suits were very much popular on most runways.
